10 Things You Need To Know

The 2025 Daisy Nationals is almost upon us! The ups, the downs, the fun and new friends. Here are 10 things you should know before attending.

1. Barter Bar – Bring good stuff! It’s a night of trading items with other competitors and coaches. Here’s the deal – you walk into the crowded room and something catches your eye – a European deer mount painted with the American flag, a box full of potato chips, or maybe you approach the Daisy table and see all the special BB guns, SplatRBall blasters or maybe a Gamo air rifle. You better have something worthy to trade or you will be stuck with a sunflower button or yo-yo!
2. Clifton Eoff is our Nationals photographer and he snaps your pic on the podium with your team at Opening and you with a gold medal around your neck at Closing. He uploads all of those pics into a Dropbox account, and you can go download whatever you want. 3. Painted Gun Contest – We divided this contest into two divisions – self-painted and professionally painted.
4. No water park this year. 😟 But, we will have a get together with a DJ, cornhole, pizza and more after Closing Ceremony! 😉
5. Airgun gets its own Top Gun Shoot-Off! Education funds will be awarded!
6. The NRA’s Youth Program Manager, Claudia Olsen, will be giving several seminars on the programs the NRA provides for youth shooting coaches. If you’re a coach or planning on becoming one, definitely attend to see what they offer.
7. The Essay Contest is on again. Win money! Ages 8-11 can win up to $250, and ages 12-15 up to $500 - just for writing about your experiences in the shooting sports and your visit to Rogers. It’s sponsored by the Outdoor Journalist Education Foundation of America. Go to https://daisynationals.com/essay-contest for all rules and info.
8. For 10-Meter Airgunners who are shooting the Crosman Challenger, we will have Randy Holmes on hand who will give several seminars on Troubleshooting and General Maintenance of your Challenger. Plan on attending!
9. There will be NO THROWING of candy or peanuts or anything into the crowd during Opening and Closing.
