10 Things You Need To Know

The 2026 Daisy Nationals is almost upon us! The ups, the downs, the fun and new friends are waiting for you to arrive in Rogers, Ark. Here are 10 things you should know before attending (especially if this is your first time!).

1. Barter Bar – This is a night of trading items you bring from your area or make yourself, things like European mounts painted with the American flag, woodshop projects, food your region is known for, t-shirts or coffee cups from your local bank, sports teams or schools – things like that. But bring good stuff. Daisy participates with some great stuff, and we won’t trade for just anything. We bring special BB guns, SplatRBall blasters, air rifles from our other companies and other big items. !
2. We have a new event photographer this year, taking over due to Clifton Eoff’s retirement. It’s Elizabeth Ledbetter and you can check out her work at https://www.instagram.com/p/Chf438gJGe9/. She will continue the tradition of uploading the images into an accessible account so you can peruse and select the ones you want. We will provide that link when it is set up.
3. Painted Gun Contest – We divided this contest into two divisions – self painted and professionally painted. Professionally painted includes any work done on the gun that the shooter didn’t do him or herself.
4. Afterparty! We again will have an afterparty at the conclusion of the Closing Ceremony with a DJ, photo booth and, more importantly…MORE PIZZA this year!
5. The Essay Contest is on again, brought to you by the Outdoor Journalist Education Foundation of America. Win money! Ages 8-11 can win up to $250 and ages 12-15 up to $500 – just for writing about your experience in the shooting sports and your visit to Rogers. 6. Representatives from the NRA will again be on site to give seminars on the programs they provide for youth shooting coaches. If you’re a coach or planning to be one, attend to see what they offer.
7. The 10-Meter Airgun Match is growing by leaps and bounds! Crosman Challenger expert Rany Holmes will be on hand and give several seminars on troubleshooting and general maintenance of your Challenger air gun.
8. You can pre-order customized event shirts at www.finedesigns.com. Go to Shop in the drop-down menu and put “2026 Annual Daisy National BB Gun Championship” in the Find My Event tab.
9. Top-Gun Shoot Offs! Both the 10-Meter Airgun and the BB Match top 10 finishers will shoot an additional match before the Closing Ceremony, and win money for whatever education they choose to pursue. Top Gun Shoot Off first place winners get $3,000 in funds designated for education costs, second gets $2,000 and third place gets $1,000. Every competitor in the Top Gun win something – even last place gets $250.
10. Opening Ceremony contests – Teams compete in three categories: Costume, Patriotic and Original T-Shirt Design. We love to see your creativity!
